To quickly get something out of the way, I ordered the wrong size sleeve on accident so I can't speak to much other than the material quality and durability. The material is comfortable, but the stitching along the top was also already loose when the item showed up. Probably just happened during the shipping process, not a big deal, but mine's kinda destroyed. I ordered a size up, so mine slipped on my arm a lot at first, but oddly enough once the pad was sitting on my elbow correctly it worked a lot better. Speaking of the padding, I ate concrete more than a few times during my time with this sleeve, and the padding held up. The fabric didn't tear, the padding's still intact, it worked well. So despite my own mediocre experience, which was both mine and the shipping company's fault (not Sport Drip), I'd still recommend this product. Just order the right size.
Great design and material, pad isn’t bulky but still enough to protect! Want to get the leg sleeve next but L is too small based on the dimensions!
I’ve had a chance to play around quite a bit with the performance shooting sleeve(the one with the pads). After getting some sweat into it and breaking it in, I can officially say that the people over at Sport Drip have figured out what the big name companies haven’t. The material on these sleeves is extremely comfortable, and it conforms to the shape of your arm very well. It is also quite thick and durable, but it doesn’t get too hot. I felt no restriction whatsoever while wearing it on my shooting arm. There was a little bit of bunching right on the inside of the elbows, but it didn’t last long. My only gripe with this particular sleeve is the size/thickness of the padding. I did a little bang test on a wall, and my elbow didn’t feel much. Haven’t been able to play up close with anyone else, so we’ll have to see if heads are safe during contact. The padding is somewhat small in diameter, and each one is separated from the other with a bit of space in between. It’s not much, but if you’re used to the tighter packed pads from other brands, this might leave you wanting something with a bit more coverage. I appreciate the fact that the padding isn’t overly large, like with other ones I’ve tested. The spacing and smaller diameter of these allow the padding to contour around your elbow and move nicely. For a newer company that isn’t a big name brand, SportDrip certainly knows what they’re doing: Providing decently priced gear while catering to the next generation of hooper. I look forward to testing more of their products. I hadn’t worn a sleeve in years, and now I can’t hoop without it. Enough said.
